  • The Chamber partners with local businesses, industries and the county school system dedicated to develop and attract skilled labor and retain employees. This group meets monthly @ 3:30 p.m. in the training room at the UGA Archway Office located at 111 Railroad Street., Thomson, GA 30824.  Contact Sam Perren to attend the next meeting.

    • Plan and Placement - Develop a program with industries for placement
    • Create a formal Business/Industry Council that works directly with our local school system and leadership
    • Increase business participation in schools by providing a list of guest speakers with expertise, and market this list to the schools
